Driver Qualifications / Requirements:
Driver's Licence
The driver must have held a full UK driving Licence for a minimum of one year. The old style paper licence or the new UK photocard licence with its paper counterpart to be produced (or a phone call to DVLA whilst hire being processed). Most endorsements accepted.
Non UK Licences
We can cater for non UK Licences. The driver must have held their license for a minimum of one year.
Age Restrictions
Drivers must be over 21 years old with more than 1 years driving experience. Drivers under 23 are restricted to vehicles under 2500kgs GVW Additional Driver(s)
A maximum of 3 drivers can be insured on one vehicle.
Rental Charges:
Rental Charges
The quoted cost of hire includes: the rental, insurance, VAT, breakdown assistance and road fund tax. UNLIMITED MILEAGE APPLIES TO ALL RENTALS.
Fuel
Fuel is on a like for like basis and should be returned as it is first received.
Insurance Excess
While in charge of our vehicles the client is responsible for the first £350 (£500 on Luton Vans) of any damage or loss incurred to the vehicle. (This is not taken at the time of hire and is only taken into consideration if damage or loss does occur)
Collision Damage Waiver
This is an optional cost and reduces the excess (see above) from £350 to £150 (£500 to £250 on Luton Vans) at a cost of £5 per day (This is to be taken at the customers discretion)
Methods of Payment
Payment to be made by Cash, Debit or Credit Card.
Deposits
On advance bookings we may ask for a small deposit to secure the vehicle for you.
Commercial Ferry Bookings:
We have arrangements made with Red Funnel to allow cheaper travel to and from the Island for Commercial Vehicles. Although we have the Van & Ferry Special we can still do you the best rate on Commercial Crossings via Red Funnel Van Dimensions Please be aware that the dimensions listed are a guide and can alter from van to van. The opening apeture may also be needed to indicate if something will fit. Should you have very specific requirements please ask us to measure the van you require |
